Montana's Memory Day was one of Kirkus Review's Top 100 "Best of" Indie books of 2021! It had originally received a starred review before being selected for this additional honor.

Moonbeam Children's Book Awards

MMD recieved the Bronze Medal for "Best First Book--Picture Book."

Royal Dragonfly Book Awards

MMD received Honorable Mentions in two categories: Best Illustrations/Photography & Picture Books-Age 5 & Younger.
